MEMBERSHIP FEES

There are several types of Membership available.

Full Member - $192.50 per annum (incl GST) +2% Industry Levy on mohair sales or $165.00 whichever is the lesser amount.
Registration of Stud Brand, Prefix and Tattoo $66.00. Link to Registration application
Registration and transfer of stud animals.
Attend and Vote at meetings at Regional, Divisional and National levels.
Regular News Sheet - post or electronic
Access to Members Only section of the website.

Commercial Member - $110.00 per annum (incl GST)+ 2% Industry Levy on Mohair Sales or $165.00 whichever is the lesser amount.
Attend and Vote at meetings at Regional, Divisional and National levels.

Ordinary Member - No Up front cost but payment of 2% Industry Levy (minimum of $27.50 - maximum of $165.00) on Mohair Sales Required

Educational Membership- $66.00 per annum (incl GST) granted on application to Educational institutions being bodies corporate or unincorporated educational institutions which –
(a) wish to farm any number of registered goats, and
(b) accept voting rights at Regional level only, and
(c) are willing to pay a Subscription as determined by the National Executive

Junior Membership- $12.50 (incl GST) granted on application to Persons who are 18 years of age or younger who –
(a) wish to register no more than 25 goats, and
(b) accept voting rights at Regional level only, and

REGISTRATION, RECORDING AND TRANSFERS OF STUD ANGORAS

as at 10 December 2007.

Fees may be varied from time to time by the National Executive. The following fees (inclusive of GST) are set as at the introduction of the On-line system of recording.

Registration of a Breeding Flock (Stud) including Prefix and Tattoo Brand: $66.00
Transfer of a Prefix and Tattoo Brand: $66.00

On-Line Registration of Buck or Doe $ 1.98 per animal

Transfer fees. Animal/Embryo or Lease $ 5.50 per transaction

Manual entries using the registrar will attract a service fee.
Service Fee $27.50 minum for up to five entries
Over five entries $5.50 each

Manual Correction of a registration or a transfer $1.98 per correction plus service fee per entry $5.50 (i.e. $7.48 per entry)

NOTE. All Certificates will be available free, on-line, to recorded Owner.

There are some special benefits for brokers who take a half or full page package.

All advertisers can have a hyperlink included in their advert free of charge.

The advertising of Regional and Divisional meetings, functions and promotional events will be FREE in the News Sheet

MOHAIR AUSTRALIA NEWS SHEET SUBSCRIPTION

Mohair Australia producers a monthly news sheet. This publication can be mailed to you with an annual subscription fee for non-members of $55.00.
